Green River Stables offers private guided trail rides for small groups of 8 or less. Take a scenic ride along the Green River, through woods, over fields and hills, both scenic and challenging for any level rider. Ride last about 1 hour . The cost is $35.00 per person. See many types of wildlife from fins to feathers, and experience the beauty of Wayne County, all on horseback. Children ages 7 and up , and adults under 250lbs. Ride at your own speed and skill level ! Advance reservations are usually required. Call and book your ride today!
Not ready for a trail ride through the woods? Bring the family
and ride well-mannered, friendly horses in our outdoor arena!
Walk, Trot, or Gallop your horse in a safe enclosed arena with
your friends or family. The cost is only $15.00/hr. per horse,
and we have all sizes from small pony's to large horses to suit
any member of the family!

Green River Stables will take horses to one of these local trail
systems and ride with you and your own speed and skill
level, you can take the lead or let us guide you!
Cost is $75.00 per horse for the first two horses, then $100.00
for each additional horse. Additional fees for the Trail System
may apply, please ask for details.
You can ride up to four hours, bring lunch, and drinks, take
photo's, and enjoy the scenery !

than a party with ponies!! Let green River Stables provide the
facility and the fun,
we have two great packages to choose from, or design your own
package!!
Standard
Package- $150 You get 2 hours use of our facility, all you can
drink fruit drink, cups, 8x10 color photo, access to our petting
zoo animals, and 50 minutes of horse & pony rides for up to 15
guests.
Deluxe Package- $250 You get 3 hours use of our facility, all you can
drink fruit drink, cups, 8x10 color photo, access to our petting
zoo, 25 cups of treats to feed the animals, a fun hay ride
around Green River Stables and Paint-A-Pony, plus an hour and 20
minutes of horse and pony rides for up to 25 guests !
Create Your Own - take our standard

Petting Zoo Treats - feed our sheep, goats, llama,
alpaca, rabbits, and more, cups of treats .50 cents each.
Hay Ride- take a fun hay ride around Green River Stables-

Paint-A-Pony- One of our favorites with kids and adults.
party guests get to actually paint our ponies and horses, we use
only non toxic, water paints, safe for kids and horses, they get
to create beautiful works of art on our sweet ponies and horses,
and then show off their art work when they ride!!

Additional riders - $2.00 each with any package.
There is no limit of the amount of guests that you can bring to
your pony party, limits only apply to riding guests. Our
facility has a kitchenette, with micro wave, small refrigerator
& freezer, tables, chairs, restroom, a/c , heat, TV w/ DVD
player.
Party Guests can bring anything they want for their party such
as food, grills, balloons, decorations, games, coolers, etc.
Greens river stables does provide a charcoal grill for guests,
but you must bring your own charcoal and fluid. We can also
provide a small camp fire for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows
upon request.
Friendly pets on a leash are welcome.
Alcohol , weapons, & fireworks are PROHIBITED
Green River Stables offers friendly, professional, private,
riding lessons for all adults and children 4 years and older.
All styles of riding including basic western or English pleasure
and trail riding, to show events such as hunter jumper, English
equitation, showmanship, saddle seat, barrel racing, and more.
Lessons start at $25.00 a session (apporx. 45 min.), scheduling is very flexible. Handicap
and special needs are welcome!
Are you on the road
, traveling cross country with your horse?, need a place to let
your horse stretch it's legs, and sleep in a clean, fresh stall?
Green River Stables offers over-night lodging for your horse.
You can park your camper or R.V. here, or drop your horse off, park your trailer, and
stay in a nearby hotel, ( we recommend The Hurricane Inn in
Waynesboro), while we pamper your equine friend. Get a good
nights sleep , knowing your horse is safe and well cared for.
Horse only- $45.00 per night. Two or more horses -$35.00 per
night. Add RV parking for an additional $25.00 per
night.
Green River Stables
offers many different horse leasing options. Tell us your needs
or interests, and we will customize an affordable program just
for you.
It's like
having your own horse without the worries of daily care &
maintenance, trail ride your leased horse, show your leased
horse, or just love your leased horse, we'll do the rest.
Monthly leases start as low as $100; call for details.
Green River Stables offers full service boarding for all breeds
of horses. We are a small boarding facility offering family friendly
service for all horses and riders. Full Boarding includes:

Green River
Stables offers public and private Horse Camps. Horse Camps are
held one or two days and consist of clinics throughout the day
on Basic Horsemanship Skills such as feeding, grooming, bathing
and caring for horses, as well as advance clinics on Training
tips and techniques, to saddling, bridling, and riding! This is
a great program for 4H groups, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Church
Groups, or any group that loves horses, and wants to learn more
about them! Lunch, and evening wiener roasts, are included and
all participants receive certificates of completion! Call or
e-mail for fees.
Green River Stables can
bring friendly, sweet, ponies or horses for your private party.
Anywhere in Wayne County, 2 ponies or horses $100 per hour, any
additional pony or horse is $50 per hour.
You can add a small petting zoo of 2 sheep, 2 goats, Llama, and
rabbits for an additional $50 per hour or petting zoo alone is
$100 per hour.
Outside of
Wayne County, add additional fee of $20 up to 50 miles.
